Hi! I am hoping someone can help us. My daughter is 9 and was recently diagnosed with Alopecia. Her hair loss was quick and she now has a partial wig or topper that must be taped in every morning and removed every night. (She was not comfortable with the full wig topper, felt it was too tight and itchy.) The partial was cut from a 100% virgin human hair wig and is very nice and was quite expensive, but she is upset daily because as we remove the tape, she is finding regrowth stuck to the tape!! The tape is pulling out any potential for new growth?!! i don't know what to tell her. She is only 9 and so hopeful that she can have her "real hair back" , yet she has lost so much on the top of her head and at the temples that she needs the tape, as comb-clips having nothing to hold onto. Does anyone have any advice for what we can do? She is sweet and sensitive and it breaks my heart to see her so upset by this. Thanks!
Tracey
