I hear you! I wish I had the courage and self-acceptance but I am just not quite there yet. One thing that did help a little was wearing scarves...I came out to strangers first (on a business trip). It was easier.

I can't see me ever going out bald either and I've been bald for over 20yrs...I've gone to the beach bald but that's it. Some of us are comfortable without a head covering and some of us aren't, but each of us find a way to live with this disease as best we can. I wouldn't beat myself up about it, but all power to those who can go out bald I say.
