Hi all,

Has anyone else experienced white very fine baby hair growing where previously bald? and if so does it thicken up, or change colour etc? and more importantly mean the hair is starting to regrow.

Any experience gratefully received :)

(I am not letting this latest development excite me at all by the way.)

My baby fuzz is the only type of hair that comes and goes on me. It goes through stages where there is more or less of it but in my experience it does not change into "normal" hair.

Thanks for your reply.
Had a feeling it wouldn't be entirely positive.

It's just there to tease us by the sound of it.
Thankyou for taking time to answer me.

My white fuzz turned into normal dark hair and part of it seems to be here for good... or until Alopecia strikes again. ;-)

This hair was always there, unseen. White pigment hair does not become affected by alopecia as much, so it stays but usually has slow growth and a wispier texture. It does not become regular pigmented hair..

My bald spots were entirely bald with no hair at all before the white fuzz started to grow.

My white hair was not always there Tallgirl, as my head was completely smooth. It is very fine like baby hair
