Who is this bald woman singing and dancing with Prince at Madison Square Garden?

Beginning at about 1:30 in this video (after Prince kicks Kim Kardashian off stage), there appears to be a bald woman in a costume singing and dancing with him. Does anyone know who the heck she is, if this is indeed a woman?

I just posted this as a separate video...maybe someone knows the story. It appears she's part of the show - maybe she's one of his "back-up" group. Nice to see, but I'd like to know more!

Did a little research on the net.....she is Shelby Johnson aka Shelby J of the band Black Gypsy. She has got a fantastic voice too!

Here's a link that shows closeups of her with Prince at the BET awards, bald, and with a hat singing in a video...I wonder if she has AA? She looks beautiful!

The only thing that I could find is that she shaved her head and appeared bald at the 2010 BET music awards. There are some pictures of her and Prince at loverbald.livejournal.com/334341.html

I agree with you Mary she does look beautiful!

It does appear she's shaved her head for the "look". How awesome is that! I just sent her a message on Facebook thanking her for presenting such a wonderful model of how beautiful a woman can look without hair.

We just need more women to pick up on the trend, the way bald men have in recent years. Wouldn't that be amazIng?! We'd suddenly be very fashionable!

Thanks to all the beautiful women that go out in public bald, like you Mary. I hope that one day I have the courage to do so myself. I'm working on it :-) I'm taking babysteps....I'm not just wearing a wig anymore when I go out. Lot's of scarves and hats. Then last week I did something I have never done before, while looking for another wig instead of asking for the private room I just pulled my hat off right in front of everybody. Got a few compliments on my bald look which was a great ego booster. My goal is to feel comfortable with any look that I decide to have at any given time. Weather it is wearing a wig, scarf, hat or going out bald :-)

Good for you, Petra, what you're doing is exactly what I was doing at first...baby steps just like that. I remember the first time I pulled off my hat in a store and left it off for a moment. Eventually, I got to the point I'm at, which is I just do what feels best, scarf, hat or bald - mostly depending on temperature and sun protection. ( ;-)

She accepted my friend request right away, but I haven't had a personal message. I let her know about all of here on AW, and thanked her for doing the beautiful bald look. I'll let you know, but she's probably too busy. I saw on her Facebook page, though, that our Cheryl is a Friend.
