Hey beth! you and ur husband look sooo sweet! congrats on the wedding. I was wondering; did u look at lace front wigs? I hear the front hairline looks really natural. I am tryin to look for a wig that has a realistic hairline and part. I don't want one that looks to tight and full. Any ideas?

Hi Beth,

I'm adjusting much better than I thought I would, I think it's because I really like my wig. I'm just trying to figure out how to blowdry it as well as the person who cut it originally, guess it will take practice. How are you getting on?

Hey Beth! I'm good how are you? I am wearing my wig in the profile picture but have my own natural hair from the front pulled out from underneath so I can put it back like that. It's a human hair with mono top machine made. I'm actually waiting for a new one that is longer and due to some thinning in the front will most likely cut a side bang to make it look more natural. Are you wearing a wig in your profile pic? If so it looks great.

Congrats on your marriage! It takes a strong partner to support us through this process. I feel fortunate to have that type of relationship with my boyfriend too.

Hi there. My wig is a mono cap with European hair. I attach it with a comb along the hair line and two clips above my ears. If I want it really secure I use double sided tape at the nape. That stops it from bunching up. Thing is, I have a tiny head and the seamstress had to cut quite a lot off to fit it and I wonder if that is why I feel seams. I am just wondering if I had a wig made to my specifications would it be smooth all around?

Beth,
Please tell my about your wig. I read that it is custom. Does it have "lumps" anywhere, like at the nape? Since mine looks so real people have been touching my head and I am so worried they will feel the seams! How do you attach it? It's beautiful on you.
Happy New Year!!!
:) Stephanie

Hey,
Hope you enjoyed Christmas, can't believe it's almost New Year already....So I haven't even had my wig for a week yet & I love it. Thought it would take a while to get used to. It's alittle longer than I had wanted but I kinda like the length now & I can always cut it later. How are things with you?

Hi Beth,

So happy to hear things are going well with you. I think I should get my wig in a couple of weeks. It's just taking so long as it in NY & I'm in AZ, so it has to be sent back & forth. I hope to get it by Christmas. I've had alot of white regrowth recently but who knows if it will turn into real hair :(
I'll let you know when I receive it. What are your plas for Christmas?

Things are good. How was your Thanksgiving? Are you feeling more comfortable about wearing your wig now? Mine should be ready in a couple of weeks, so looking forward to it. How is your own hair holding up?

Hi Beth, I'm surprised to hear your having tangling, it may just be that cuticle hair has some drag. I would give it a leave in treatment, like olive oil, just down from the roots, not on the base. If that doesn't fix it, there's a vinegar trick I'll tell you about that helps close the cuticles.

I'm glad you're enjoying it! It looks fab. You getting used to wearing a wig? I know it can take some getting used to, if you aren't bonding I suggest you get a gel liner, it's a little gel band? i use it with my wigs and it helps a lot, I think I got mine for lori's wig site, I can't remember. Hope you had a good birthday!

Hey Beth,

You know I don't think I would be confident enough to leave the house without wearing a wig either but this is still all so new, 6 months ago I had a full head of hair. I'm just looking forward to getting my wig now. I posted a pic of me before the aa started not sure what do do with with front of the wig as styling goes....maybe longer sweeping bangs...who knows. It's being customized & should get it soon. Just don't want it to look weird. Yours looks amazing!

Beth,

So happy to hear you feel better now that you shaved your head, I think I might head that way soon. It's weird that we are going through this at almost the same stage. In the process of getting my 1st wig customised hope to have it soon. Excited & scared.
Contact me anytime, thinking of you, Jules

it's a worry & that lil' hair feels more secure.Yet, I now take it all off & when I see the patchy mess come back..I then feel more inadequate, more embarrassed & uncomfortable.
Either way..it all feels very unpleasant..hair, no hair..mess..no mess.
Burning itching when it grows back for me...can't win or lose.
Yet I like the Sleek look better than the patches.
I feel more so "WHOLE"
