Thanks for the post. I totally understand where you are at in terms of the ponytail, bobbypins and WIND ugghh! My hair can still be worn down, however, the number of strands that I find on my clothes is rather embarrasing. The lady I went to see at the wig shop was so helpful. I have been so scared that putting on a wig would be the most awful experience of my life. It really was not bad. I too have been debating the shave. We even bought the electric shaver. However, after yesterday at the hair shop, the lady, who has alopecia herself, thinks that I still have alot of hair and that I should hold off for awhile. It's the control thing that I wanted with the shave but she was saying that I could control the AA by buying a topper and using it to help hide the spots...so once again I'm in the holding pattern. The topper looked amazing! I'm in hats and scarves or a barrett to cover the major area of concern (quite large), so I don't know what to tell you in terms of the shave. I think you would look great without hair...you're gorgeous. I'm new to this AA thing and it is such a rollercoaster ride. Crazy. Hope you can choose what's best for you.
