I wish I were going to the conference!
I don't think I'll be able to fit it in this year.
Are you going?

Hee hee, well -- I don't know exactly how old you are, but twenties seemed reasonable! I just love that story!
Thanks for the sweet note, and a big hug to you.

Hi There! Since it's a small world, but not that small, I am guessing that you are the same person listed as the NAAF contact for alopecia meetings in Arizona. My son just lost 90% of his hair in the last 3 weeks and while I've shown him some pictures of other kids with alopecia on here, I think it would be good for him to meet some other kids locally. Do you have a meeting set in the near future and have there been kids at previous meetings or is it mostly adults? Thanks for your time.

Thank u Sarah for ur response. Never b4 my kids they are the only ones that have never seen me this way but the fact that i was so young when this happens my other families have ,,but u know what since am grown up they hardly see it cause am just always wearing my wigs. I do locked myself in the b/room and admire myself and am as beautiful as if there wasn't any alopecia. Am very outgoing and is hardly noticeable cause i try to appear as normal as possible, i try to fixed my wigs so they look very real then no one can tell if it's that...even if they think it is,, wigs are worn by everyone in this part of the country where i reside. My biggest thing is i've never discussed this with my daughters and don't know how to,, wished they would ask me something, i would definately with no hesitation tell them about it. Hope to find that courage and i think u people are an inspiration, this will help me to do what i have to.....

hey Sarah,
I just stop by to give my regards and more power to you...I think you are so brave and beautiful at the same time,,,just to share some things with u, I've never take off my wigs @ home or any place....most of my family and my siblings knew but i've never ever share this with my kids and they never ask any question...i assume they knew but never say anything, they are two girls 14+ and 12years old. I wish i could find a way to let them know whats going on....if u have any suggestions i'll welcome ur thoughts.....
