Hey there. I have just been told I have AA also. I have my own hair still, however, it's getting harder and harder to hide the spots. Have you learned any more about it? I got on here to do the same thing, cope and learn more. I am from Chicago. Have a big family reunion in Aug '09. Can't wait. I have't been back in years.

After I became the spokesperson for the National Alopecia Areata Foundation, a lot of women were needing my help and support, so I wrote a book called, "If Your Hair Falls Out, Keep Dancing!"
