My daughter lost all hair at Age 4+. Before that she had lovely hairs. Dont know why. After that I got all test done for deficiency in vit and mineral. SHe was very defficient in Vit D3 and B12. Also she had an affinity for salt. We started giving her B12 and D3 naturally derived. Also started putting oil on her head Castor Oil and Cocnut Oil. And sometime Onion Juice on her head freshly done. After some months she had white thin hairs on her head but again they fell off. But we continued. Again she had white hairs on her head and her eye lashes were the first to come. By Gods grace the white hairs turned black but thin. Today she has hairs on her head and we thank God for that. We also gave her fresh turmeric milk. We cut all refined products and minimized salt. SUgar also brown sugar not refined. Many Doctors had prescribed Meds and steroids and other things but we did not go for that. Thank GOd for that. I request all to try not to take steroids please. This is my experience so shared with you all. Hope benefits some of you. Today she is 5+.
I have been losing hair from alopecia for about a year. Its hard because I have always had nice long hair, my one true vanity. Now I look like an old hippie guy with a ponytail and bald crown
You are all so beautiful to me....spirit, heart and soul. I have AA...it took only 6months for me to go from head full of hair to absolutely no hair whatsoever. I got so tired of my hair falling out I begged my husband to shave me bald...and he did! It was the best decision I could have made. It's been 11 week since he shaved my head and I now have a head full of hair, with a few bald spot still there. My hair is mostly white with some black. People think I am older than I am. God chose us to go through this sturgglesbecause He knew we could handle it with grace and style. I would love to share what I've been doing naturally to encourage regrowth if anyone is interested.
I am so happy that an international group like this exists. I lost all my hair 8 years ago when I was 26 over 7 a week and there was no group support out for me at that time that I could find on the internet and the medical knowledge on alopecia was minimal. My friends and family were amazing, but had no idea what I was going through. To know that people who are new to hair loss will be able to talk to people who have gone through it is a truly amazing thing. For those of us that have lived with it for a while, I it is always nice to make new friends who share your experiences. Thank you to the lovely people who started this website who are making life a lot easier to deal with for a lot of people. x
A group of us are proposing an Alopecia World Get-Together.
How about some time in December 2009?
New Orleans seems to be a pretty popular choice with the warmer weather & the economics.
Dates and Cities are flexible and open to disscussion....
What do you thinK???
I cant think of a better way to bring such warmth and cheerfulness to the Holiday Season.
