- I have had Alopecia Universalis since 1997. I wore wigs from Paula young or Raquel Welch for about 6 years and hated every minute. I had 2 young children and couldn't go on rides or play and certainly had to avoid the wind or stoves, then in 2003 I discovered freedom Hair vacuum Pieces. My life changed dramatically, such Freedom and fun now, rides, roller coasters water parks.
