- I suffered domsetic violence and abuse for many yrs which I finally got out if 3yr ago I have self harmed by overdosing on none prescription tablets i have chronic deppression and anxiety I got diagnosed with alopecia areata 8 wks ago I have had blood tests all come back ok I got prescribed steroid ointment which made my scalp itch I'm now on steroid tablets my hair is falling out very quicklyy eyelashes are now stubby and my eyebrows have gone patchy I am finding this very hard to cope with on top if my other problems
