- NC native. I ignored all symptoms of my
Central centrifugal cicatricial alopecia. I starting losing hair immediately after having my daughter. I ignored it and attributed it to change in hormones. As years (3) passed made every excuse there is for my hair loss. I wasted valuable time and allowed condition to worsen. 11/26/13, I was officially diagnosed with CCCA. I'm just trying to meet others with alopecia for support. This is VERY hard for me to accept and feel as if those surrounding me don't understand!
