Thank you so much for your response. I have had rapid hair loss and I feel it is going into Totalia. My father had Alopecia Areata at age 49 and his hair came back and he had it only one time. My Alopecia is much worse then his was. My beautician discovered my first spot in July 2009 and it was about the size of my fingernail. I finally got in to see a dermatoligist in Sept. and in Oct. I had my first injection and then in Nov. I had several injections because the Alopecia had spread so fast. I am having to wait for 10 weeks for the next injections because my scalp is so tender. Meanwhile my Alpecia is spreading very rapidly. I'm trying to figure out what has triggered this. My dermatoligist simply says it is due to stress but I'm not sure how much enviroment has to do with it. I'm afraid I don't have much time to figure it out before I loose all of my hair.
