- I retired from doing and teaching massage therapy and moved to Colorado last summer.I love hiking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing. I'm in the perfect place to enjoy an active life. I was very recently diagnosed with FFA although I know I've had it for years. I kept asking doctors why my eyebrows were disappearing and they sent me for thyroid tests that were negative. I went for a skin check in CO and the dermatologist asked if I knew I had FFA. It's a relief to know and now I'm here gathering information.
