- I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH FRONTAL FIBROSING ALOPECIA IN 2012. SINCE THEN I HAVE GONE FROM A FULL HEAD OF THICK HAIR TO FINE , STRAIGHT AND SPARSE HAIR ESPECIALLY NEAR THE FRONT. MY HAIRLINE HAS RECEDED ALL AROUND ABOUT 2 INCHES . MY DERMATOLOGIST HAS TRIED SEVERAL TREATMENTS - NOT MUCH HELP SO FAR. I AM NOW ON HYDROXYCHLOROQUINE PILLS AND CLOBETASOL FOR THE ITCHING. I WOULD JUST APPRECIATE ANY INFO THAT MIGHT HELP ME . I AM FINDING IT VERY DIFFICULT TO ACCEPT AND TO FEEL GOOD ABOUT MYSELF LATELY.

Hi everyone ! I have been on this website for a couple of years . I was diagnosed with FFA several years ago - have undergone treatments of all sorts with cortisone sprays and a few different medications that none of which helped. I did lose all of my brows pretty much and so had the microblading done . It is a bit painful but I was very happy with the results. My only advice is to be sure to get good recommendations for the technician first.
