- im 71 years old. Divorced but still friends with my ex. I have a son who lives in Sweden a daughter who lives near by.Also have four gorgeous grandchildren.Iv lived with alopecia since I was 27 years. Don't think the shock has ever left me but cope as iv no choice :)overall I'm upbeat and love a good laugh. Money is my biggest problem now, just not enough of it. I did have a couple of custom made wigs but can't afford them anymore. So go for synthetic wigs and manage to keep them for some time. Great tips online for keeping them as good as possible. I never dwell on anything or hanker after what can't be. Just carry on and keep breathing lol
