About Me:
I have a combo of medical conditions which make having hair terribly inconvenient. I have nerve damage due to CPRS/RSD and disesthesias throughout my body but especially bad in my head. I also have wicked skin allergies and seborrheic dermatitis. I have not found treatments that work; the only relief I've found is through shaving my head. I've been bald - though I'm not sure I'd say "by choice" - since September of 2012. I go bald in public and at home about 90% of the time, but I do have two wigs...they just itch and they're hot so I prefer to wear hats when socially acceptable. I'd like to grow my hair back and I have tried - even recently - but the suffering just wasn't worth it.

I don't know if I'll fit in at AW but I wanted to try to connect with other women sharing my general situation. Thanks! :)
