- Im 17 almost 18, I noticed I had a bald spot around Christmas in 2015. The doctors told me I had alopecia areata, then I went to a dermatologist and she told me she wouldnt treat me for alopecia because I was pulling my hair out, which I know Im not! I have a total of 3 bald patches and everyday is a struggle, I just wanna reach out to other people who understand what this is like and hear there stories.
