I,m a single guy who has had alopecia since I was 3 first it would come and go .When I was in 9th grade I became Au and have been ever since. I have a loving family who have always been by my side thru my depression and being lonely.I often feel like an outcast because of my baldness i don't go out to public places because of my anxiety due to my AU . I would like to talk to other people who suffer from this condition.I'm tired of everybody saying its okay its just your hair

That's right Linda...you said it as it is...it's only okay..if you say it's okay!
People always have that comment..as there is little for them to say...as they don't feel or walk in our shoes.
Like the saying in Australian..when people don't know how to repsond..."SHE'LL BE RIGHT MATE"
So here we have a common thread that binds us all together.Full of love compassion and knowledge.
Vent and you shall be heard...cry and we shall wipe away your tears if we can...a simple touch of support!
