I've had alopecia universalis for two years - I always had very thick healthy hair so this has been hard- although my family is very supportive I am looking for a support community with the same experience. I'm hoping others have ideas on how to cope emotionally and physically.

How are you today? I have universalis, too.
I had tattooed eyebrows but they faded (and you can still see them a little -- but they turned blue) and I didn't want to keep redoing them, so I am wearing temporary tattoo brows from www.beauti-full-brows.com. They look real, they're inexpensive, and they can last for days!

small world indeed! How's it all going? It's good to know that your family's really supportive of you but I know it can be tough especially when you feel like you're only one who's got this condition. I've always had really nice, healthy hair too but now it's disappearing faster everyday. I'm just trying my best to remain positive, although it can be pretty tough.Hang in there and chat soon :)
