- I 1st got Alopecia in 2008 (over 30yrs old). My hair grew back and then fell out again in 2010. It has been a long time and now my scalp is burning & red (not a sunburn) and I think its about to happen again. I am much better equipped to deal with the physical and emotional side of it this time.
