- Hi, My name is Jon and I am actually on here looking for advise for my son. He is now 7 years old and has had alopecia areata for about 3 years now. It dosnt seem to be getting any worse but I was just wondering if thier were any good suggestions other than Rogain. This is my first encounter with this disease and it is heart breaking when I see my son upset over other children making fun of him. Please any suggestions will help.
