- I'm a 53-year-old entrepreneur and mother. About a year ago I began to have noticeable hair loss on the front and sides of my hairline. After seeing multiple doctors and undergoing tests, I was diagnosed frontal fibrosing alopecia. I made a decision to not use steroids or any medications to treat the condition. I'm healthy and the thought of using medications that could cause health issues didn't make sense to me.
