- I'm 58 years old. Always had very fine hair. My dad has lost most of his hair at any early age. I have six sisters - all with a full head of hair (some fine and some thick - all blond, although mine has more gray than the rest) My two brothers have thinning hair, they are 50 and 60 My front right hair line has no hair and is very thin on top . I use rogaine to keep the rest of my hair.
