Hi, I'm a single mother with 3 children, I live in Sydney Australia. My daughter has had alopecia since she was 18mnths old and is now 20. When she first started loosing her hair I was distraught and very emotional, blaming myself for a long time. She lost all her hair when she was about 4 years old and I always told her hair was just an accessory because it's what is inside that counts. I am very proud of the young woman she has become, she has a beautiful personality and nature, she doesn't wear a wig, never has and she wears her baldness with pride.
