I'm Nicola. I'm 16. I have Alopecia Areata. And COR BLIMEY AM I STUNNING.
It was my mum who started loosing her hair first, and even though it was really scary to watch at the time, I didn't know that it'd be a massive help a year later when I found a huge patch behind my ear. (Isn't there a name for those stubborn buggers?) Anyway, unlike my mum's, its taken ages to progress and most of my hair is gone now, but in a way I can hide it with hats, which is quite lucky. I'm was quite upset about it at the time, but with the help of friends and family and boyfriend, life's been a doddle.
