- I'm 62. Iv been on bio identical hormones since a hysterectomy in 1996. Scalp biopsy says Androgenic alopecia. No family history of it. Started Spironolactone, ordered a laser comb, using a shampoo to block DHT, Pura'Dor. Researched Minoxidil and decided to try a natural approach first with Revivogen Pro. Also started taking HairOmega DHT supplements. Joined this forum when I saw it on a wig site for wigs Follea.
My hair is not only falling out , it also lost its color which was an Auburn red all my life and now is a very light strange blond color. Looking for emotional support as am stressed in fear of losing my hair which has always been my BEST feature. Hope to find treatments and products of help in fighting this and something that could help regrow hair .. Trying to stay positive ..hope learning of things that have helped others can help myself
