- Hi! It was great to happen upon a website called Alopecia World, as I've had Alopecia Universalis for nearly 40 years.
A bit more about me and my new biz. I have two grown children who are away in another province at university. Though I'm a trained (Master's degree) Psychotherapist who's worked in the field for years, I recently had a career shift. I just opened a new business called WigCo! I'm so excited. It's such a good fit for me because it incorporates
1) my lived experience as a woman with no hair
2) the knowledge I've gained about alternatives to baldness - i.e wigs and different types of headcoverings AND lack of any facial hair
3) my background in psychology
Put them all together and you have WigCo! I'm committed to offering: wigs that are financially accessible; the most up to date and effective techniques and products for restorative eye and brow makeup; and service that is warm, welcoming, relaxed and honest.
