- i stumbled upon this site as I was inquiring about clinical trials, investigating the new immunologic medications as a possible treatment. I have been diagnosed with AU since I was 8 in 1975 so i have been in this for the long haul so to speak. It is really mind blowing to know there are many others like me. It really is quite humbling. I suppose it would be no surprise to know we own a sphynx cat (hairless kitty).
