I bought the beauty addiction in summer- I think I did use just a teeny bit of corn starch. It seemed to break in quick- I did take some length of immediately because it's very long and I could see tangles coming up the pike:p I just posted a pic of the Vivica Fox wig. I wanted a cheap ($37) curly one to play with until my back ordered RW gets here. The lace front is a little dark but I'm working on it with some concealer.the lace is also pretty itchy. I may have a beauty addiction I haven't taken out of the box- I'll dig through my closet later.
it's most like my old hair, which is naturally messy-curly. I really want to try a lace front anyway. However, due to the blizzard or some dumb thing it's on severe backorder:(
So I was cruising the web for something not-so-pricey to tide me over and found this: http://m.samsbeauty.com/service/mobile/ProductView.sams?selected_product_group=MACKENZIE
This wig's new name is Candi-V by Vivica Fox in color P2216 (the color shown on Vivica in the photo). I can't wait to compare this wig to the glam slam- they are so similar, I,wonder if they're made by the same manufacturer...
I go with highlighted blondes/darker roots, because some darker colors are too "vivid", and don't look right if I want to go without makeup. I tok a wig that didn't have roots (but had perma-tease to the 80's max )that I really liked the rest of and cut the top off then sewed it into a ball cap for the barn or just working in the yard- I will try to get some pics up soon. I am handy with thinning shears, but if have a beautician who's great with wigs. My first good mono was Soirée by Revlon: http://www.voguewigs.com/soiree-synthetic-long-wig-tressallure.html
Soirée has a mono and highlights now, but I wore it in 12R & Buttered Toast. I may have one of each still in the box, I'll have to look.
I really try to look up images of a wig I'm interested in online (and YouTube reviews), and also the color itself, even if it's on a different style from the same brand, so I can see that color on a real human. I am happy to help any time if I can(:

The New wig is Becky from Estetica in RH12-26RT4. I got her at a local wig shop. It is also pretty long no mono-top, but has dark roots. It's also pretty long, so I cut @ 4" off. The capis more comfortable than the other wig. Here's the link at Vogue:

I ordered the RW Glam Slam in the Praline Foil color:
