I am 30 years old! Married to a wonderful man, have a wonderful family, and have great friends. Having said that, my hair loss which started slowly a couple years ago has no progressed very aggressively over the last couple months. I can completely see my scalp on top whether my hair is wet or dry and my hair falls out at root and breaks off very easily. Its like my hair is dying, but in a pattern right on the top and into the sides. My hairline has remained the same. At this point I have decided that I want to shave my head. My hair loss is distracting me from all my blessing which I want to ponder when I wake in the morning. I am sick of fretting over my hair in the morning when it comes time for me to try to do something with it before work. Life is good and too short to be worrying about my hair, it has brought my self esteem down to a new all time low so it is just plain time for it to go!! That is exciting to me and very liberating! My hair does not make me, my husband tells me over and over again! It is time for me to start believing and living that!

Glad you are happy with shaving your head using a stylist if your hubby wasn't comfortable doing it for you. More importantly, I am so glad you won't have to wear a wig!
Just wondering if you decided to completely shave your head? My husband shaves mine, but I still haven't gotten brave enough to go out in public without my wig.
