Hi Jeff,
Yes, this site has definitely helped me. Thanks for your comment. I am trying to get to the point where my Alopecia doesn't bother me but I love hair and this I look better with it.

HI Jeff, This is great that you can go without a wig. It does give one a sense of freedom.

HI Jeff, I am so glad that you are taking a break from wearing a hair system while not at work. It can be difficult adjusting in the work place.

Hi Jeff Sorry for not replying sooner I've had the dreaded flu bug thats been going round. As for my wigs, I wear them when I feel comfortable in them, so at the moment its cold so I wear one most days but not at home. I wear one for work mainly because at first people treated me as ill and because I work in quite challenging environments I needed people to view me as not ill. This is changing gradually and this summer (if we get one) I will probably not wear one for work either.
I like not having to make a firm decision either way, and it causes great confusion lol...
How are you getting on not wearing yours?

Hi there Jeff. Very pleased to meet you. The best thing I did was come out from under my wigs. I really dont consider my hairloss anymore and only wear something if my head is cold. Im free from my daily constraints and worry about my wigs and it is so peaceful. Best thing I have done but it was quite a hike reaching the point in my when felt I could.
I am a very proud alopecian now. Take care
