I first had a few alopecia spots when I was around 12 years old. It would flare up every once in a while throughout my life, but I never lost more than a few patches or had thinning eyelashes or eyebrows, but since having my son 9 months ago I have lost nearly all the hair on my body. I am wearing a wig now and using makeup for eyebrows. Some people in my life know about my condition, but a lot of people still don't know.
