At the age of 50 I noticed loss of eyebrow and facial hair. This was accompanied by acne vulgaris. The acne responded to roaccutane, but there remains facial scarring. I have been diagnosed with frontal scarring alopecia and lichen plants pilannoris. Treatment has been hydrocholorquine and protopic ointment. My eyebrows have grown back a little, but not to what they once were, I have had them tattooed with limited success, my hairline continues to recede to the point I am considering having my head shaved as I can not find any suitable hairstyles. It really would be great to hear from other guys with this condition as everything appears to be female related. My GP firmly believes that stress brought on this condition is that the experience of others?
