Bald Lady Dancing!

This is me having a blast dancing to live music last summer at an annual Balkan music and dance camp. A good view of me begins at 1:49, and you can see me again at 2:33.

I SKIPPED this amazing week in 2008 and 2009 after losing my hair. I just couldn't be there bald. I went back in 2010, 2011 and 2012 - as you can see, being bald no longer matters at all - I just dance! The music is Rom (Gypsy), but the dance we're doing in the inner line is NOT traditional.

Hi Mary,
When I was first diagnosed with Alopecia Areata your video on how to wear a head scarf was the first I came across on the net and your journey with AA was the first I read about so it has stuck with me. How inspiring to see you being a bald women with such joy for life regardless. Great!
