Summer 2011 and the second BeBold camp proved to be a very special occasion for all involved. Children from all over the UK gathered together for a weekend of fun and laughter.

This year's camp was quite extraordinary, the BBC commissioned a documentary through Lambent Productions and the children took part in the filming of a thirty minute documentary about life with alopecia. The program titled My Life Without Hair will be aired on the BBC early 2012.

Aside from the hustle and bustle of a film crew the children once again had a tremendously fun experience and really made the camp the most perfect place to be. Set against the familiar backdrop of the Wild West at Pinewood Holiday Park in Scarborough families were once again entertained by our special friends at Wreckonize, The Railroad Hobos and a massive talent night hosted by Chris Lock Entertainment and Michelle Chapman.

Along the way the children came across some very interesting friends including a 13ft albino python courtesy of the Kerry, Dave and Jordan at Pinewood Holiday Park.

Friday night saw the children get together and immediately have fun with other children and enjoy a Western night including a cowboy pit fire. After tired heads were rested the fun started on Saturday with a round of Breakdancing lessons followed quickly by a magicians class. An slithery interlude into the world of reptiles was followed by BeBold's Got Talent where the children had the chance to shine! Shine they certainly did.

Sunday morning and the children had the chance to pamper themselves with the hugely impressive beauty parlour My Little Beauty and once again take part in breakdance and acting lessons. Horse riding was available along with a ride in an authentic wagon. As if that was not enough evening time was greated by a wild west fancy dress party and a true western style ho down with the Railroad Hobos.

The camp has come along way since the first adventure in 2010 and is now a regular feature. 2012 will be even bigger and better!
