Gail thank you for posting this! Exactly why I blogged about Michael J. Fox and Roger Ebert....think about all that we hairless people have. Every single person on AW who is upset to any degree about not having hair should watch this. It's ONLY hair. If we could all just be happy as happy with ourselves AS WE ARE as this guy is, we could get on with life.

I kinda agree with the last post...makes me angry because I can't have that kind of resilience that I so long for....I yearn to be that strong and think I am, them fall on my face over again.

The point of posting this was not to make people angry or sad or feel guilty. It's to help us to realize that beyond the hair, beyond our physical appearance or limitations, we are beautiful/loving/generous/intelligent/capable/fill-in-the-blank individuals. We will all get down on ourselves from time to time; we will all be strong and then fall. Nick (the man in this video) makes the point of how difficult it is to see the positives in your life when facing adversity, but to try to realize it's what's inside that counts. I think he is truly an inspiration.
