I have a human hair wig and I do not like the texture of the hair.  I am wondering if I could have a Brazillian Blowout done on it.  Does anyone have experience with this?Continue

Swimming!

Well, I went swimming with my head under the water for the first time since I got AU almost four years ago! I had my wig on with the usual two pieces of tape, one at the forehead and one on the nape of my neck. I was on a backpacking trip and at one of the lakes I decided to give it a try. It stayed on just fine. I was able to brush my fingers through the wig while I was under the water to rinse it out a bit. I sat on the shore in the sun and after a bit the wig was dry and I just brushed it…

Thanks for the compliment Brenda. My favorite lashes are the Ardell brand. I've tried the others at the beauty supply store and the cheap ones are a disappointment. Ardell lashes are made with human hair and the shapes are more refined and natural looking. My everyday 8 hour lash is #117 or 131. When I want to be fancy, I look for more volume and length-- I don't have a favorite. Putting on lashes takes time and patience. But don't give up, you will get better and faster at it if you persevere.
