Head Tatoo

I was just wondering if it hurts any worse than anywhere else on your body to get a tatoo on your head? Anyone had one. I have a very small butterfly on my thigh with was a little painful, but want to pursue one on my head.

Hi Deanna, I've had alopecia for over 30 years and I just didn't feel like I wanted to wear a wig so I have been wearing a bandanna and with a tennis cap or basketball cap or regular decorative cap for the 30 + years. I play tennis, basketball and just going out I wear the scarf/bandanna and a cap, winter, summer, spring and fall. It"s comfortable for me because I am a sporty person and it has become my mantra. I get hot and in the summer I may wear a sun visor. Can't see myself going out with a bald head because people may have a tendency to ask questions and to ask if I have cancer.

Welcome to Alopecia World. Thank you for adding me as a friend. I noticed that you've been thinking of tattooing your head and I say Go For It!!!! I have never regretted anything about it and I agree with Stephanie when she says it doesn't hurt. If I was closer to you, I'd go with you in a heartbeat!!! Keep me updated with your decision.
