About Me:
I USE TO HAVE A BEAUTIFUL HEAD OF HAIR, IT WAS LONG AND SO THICK I REMEBER NO STYLISTS WANTED TO TOUCH IT IT WAS SO THICK, I BECAME A HAIR STYLIST I HAD SUCH A PASSON FOR HAIR. I WENT THROUGH A STRESSFUL RELATIONSHIP AND DOMESTIC ABUSE ALL OF A SUDDEN MY HAIRS TEXTURE FELT WEIRD IT WAS LIKE VELLUS HAIR AND STRINGY AND IT WAS MISSING EVERYWHERE, YOU COULD COMB IT AND SEE THROUGH IT. I TOOK EVERY VITAMIN PRAYED TO GOD, GOT MY BLOOD TESTED, TALKED TO DOCTORS, NOTHING NO HOPE.

here we go again! round 2. Hello !  Please don't misunderstand what I am saying....please...But I am confused in looking at all of your photos.  Is the hair loss you are showing on the side temples what is concerning you?  Do you have the blonde hair, or the dark hair?  Just wondering.  Thanks....Happy Holidays to you.  You are very pretty.  Is the blonde hair a wig I should say many blonde photos !!

Welcome to Alopecia World from a fellow Madisonian. I'm sorry that we're communicating because we share severe hair loss. There are quite a few of us in Wisconsin so I started a group here called Alopecians in Wisconsin that we'd love to have you join. NAAF also has a telephone support contact in the Madison area.

It sounds as if the doctors confirmed that the hair loss is alopecia but no matter what the diagnosis, there's always the chance that the hair can grow back, especially without a genetic predisposition for the disease.
