I have had AA for 2 months now. I have lost a lot of hair but by the grace of God he gave me a head full so it still looks like I have a ton of hair. I can cover my spots with my remaining hair but I have to zig zag my part and hair spray it like a helmet so the wind doesn't blow it to reveal my spots. The spots on top are coin size so "it isn't that bad" but I hate fixing my hair. It is torture. I do have a spot as big as my palm in the very back...and growing but that is covered. So do I…

How do you feel physically?

Before I found my first spot a month and a half ago I was having migraines lethargic nauseated and dizzy/light headed. I still feel that way to the point sometimes I can barely make it through the day because I am so tired. Is that normal? Is there something else wrong with me? I have wondered about lupus and my husband thinks I need to take gluten out of my diet. He is tired of coming home to a lethargic wive. I just don't know if this is part of the AA or what? Hi Mindy! How are you doing? Are you covering your spots, or just going with it? I covered mine up until my hair was so thin and scraggly that I couldn't do anything with it. I shaved it off last week and am now at work for my first day with a bald head. Feeling a little anxious about it, but just not comfortable with scarves. Everyone needs to do what feels right for them.
