Hi everyone! I am a new member here. Are here people who tried treatment with NAC and methyl forms of vitamins B?
I have alopecia since 2010 when I was 19. It became universalis in 2012. I never tried immunosuppressant therapy, however I know it could help if I try. But I believe that it could make things worse after treatment cancellation.

Well i wish you luck. I wl post here if i get any good results from my experiment with nac, melatonin and selenomethionine.
But u don't actively sun yourself? Just normal uv exposure when you go out? as in no sunbathing during sunny period?
Mine is kind of patchy hair loss. I have not tried much treatment until I read the article in nac. Since all the items, nac, melatonin and selenomethionine are readily available. There was a trial on JAK inhibitor but they are so expensive. Do u expose your patches to the sun? Maybe that wl help. My relatives have strong autoimmune links like, thyroid, vitiligo and one of sis has rheumotoid arthritis. I think they are all connected. Do you lose all the hair that was regained last time or it has just stopped growing?
Thanks for your prompt reply. By the way, is your alopecia caused by auto immune disorder. Do u or yr relatives have things like hyperthyroidism, vitiligo ( skin dipigmentation ) i have both of these as well. Was hoping that this treatment will work as per the article
I was reading yr post on treatment with nac, melatonin and selenomethionine. I read in an article that you have to take a break b4 it starts working again. By the way, how long before you see results ie: growth in yr hair?
