This past year I decided that whenever the sun shines I spend the day bald. Really the considerations come from within yourself. If you can let go of your own reservations and feel comfortable about yourself, then others automatically do too! Often they do not even notice and when they do notice and ask, just tell them it is Alopecia Universalis and explain it to them in a new unit of time. This way I bring about more understanding and more reach to Mankind about Alopecia. It is so lovely to feel the wind and the sun on my head again! Much better then wearing wigs in the heat and cover yourself up. We are so much more then just our hair...it is all just a consideration in the mind that can be "let go" off. I feel much more ME and much more FREE since just being myself in every way. When I want to dress up then I wear the wig Like a hat of hair and another day I wear a colorfull scarf! And...of course keep enjoying life to the fullest! You create your own life and it is up to ourselves to decide how we feel and let ourselves feel.
