Event Description

Midwest Black Hair Magazine will be hosting our first annual "Care 4 Hair" 5K Run for Alopecia in Shawnee, KS on October 18th, 2014. We will be teaming up with the Children's Alopecia Project and a portion of all proceeds will go to help children who struggle with Alopecia. We are actively seeking partner organizations that can serve as event sponsors.
 
Registration is $30 per runner and includes race t-shirt, bib, and take home bag. Photos of the run will also be posted online after the event.
 
The run/walk will be held at The Theater In The Park, Shawnee Mission Park, Shawnee, KS. It will begin at 9 am, with a post mingle event after the race which will include music, vendors, food, giveaways, and information. We are confident that we will attract a good number of adult and children participants.
