Advise on first wig

I have been wearing extensions but unfortunately they have damaged by very thin fine hair. I have female pattern hair loss and am almost completely bald on my crown. I am in search of my first wig and am seeking advise. Human hair vs. sythetic? Also, in reading some of the posts I am hopeful somone can direct me to the best place to purchase a wig. I googled haircoatbd.com but I don't know enough about them. Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I also have female pattern hair loss, and I am a wigaholic. I prefer synthetic wigs, and there are many options when it comes to synthetic wigs as well. I think that you would need to do some research on both types, and try to figure out what you want in a wig. It really depends on each woman. Some love synthetic, and others love human hair. When you are ready to purchase one, if you are going to try synthetic first, perhaps try eBay. Or there are many websites that sell wigs like wigs.com, but beware because some of them do not allow returns or exchanges.

Hi Tammi, If you lost hair only on crown area, you can cover with top piece. Wig is little more expensive than top piece. Or if you think to purchase a wig, you can purchase human hair for realistic feel. HAIR COAT (haircoatbd.com) is a finest quality custom hairpiece and wig factory.

Have you tried a topper wig ? A lady on Youtube shows one that is synthetic made by Noriko . It's so pretty and easy for me to wear. I emailed her and she told me to buy it at namebrandwigs.com . She shows a bunch of wig videos. lost all hair on top of my head had a hair enhancement which just clipped in to any exsisting hair i had while i was treating the alopecia were a great help just meant didnt need full wig
