I really would LOVE to be a model, but not for a place who only wants people to think I have hair. I want people to know about alopecia and I want people to see me without a wig :D But I would still be willing to model with a wig on once in a while. If anyone knows any agencies in Maryland, USA, please let me know! thanks a bunch!

I am a model and actress. And it's all because of my unique look. There is a big demand now for models/actors that are differnet the the average person. Try Funny Faces modeling. They were interested in me but I couldn't do modeling at the time because of my age. I hope your seach goes well! :)

thanks ill look into it now!

I once modeled for a local department store in Michigan, during college. I think I was still wearing my wig at that time. The part-time job involved walking through the store with several clothing changes and directing women to the correct department for each garment. I also did a runway show at a restaurant, representing young adults in a show that included children to grandmas for style options. Why not approach some of the larger department stores and see what special events are open for "unique" models? Also try the cosmetics departments, and local fairs for vendors who need models to walk the fair and hand out info. You may make local newspapers, and meet people with contacts in various places. Watch out, however, for those "private photographer" come-ons!
