Hi there.

I was diagnosed with alopecia last October. A little bald patch first appeared on the side of my head. Since then it spread to the back of my head and then eventually to the top of my head meaning I had to shave all my hair off.

It then spread to my beard but looking back now on my old photos, I can see  little bald patches in my beard and I didnt think anything of it. I only realised the bald patches when they first appeared on my head.

Its affected my eyebrows a little too now.

So now im completely shaven. My head and beard.

For about 2 months now I have been using onion juice 4/5 times a week. Rub it all over my head.

I am experiencing white hair regrowth on my head and on my beard

I just would like to ask you, what does white hair regrowth signify.

Will it ever turn back to black?

Ive attached some pictures to give you some sort of idea of what im talking about.

The first set of 4 pictures is how it started.

Then more prominent patches on my board

The 2nd set of pictures show what my hair looked like when i first shaved it off. The black areas are the unaffected parts but now you can see the black hairs have all fallen out and white hairs have replaced them...

Im still unsure what this means though.
