Hi
You're not the only one! I share you're feeling totally. I'm also a newbie, and when I read everyone elses posts, I think to myself that I must have a very sh!tty attitude towards this whole thing, esp since I'm not a newbie to Alopecia by far (i've had it for 18 years!) But I want my hair back, despereatly, I'm getting married in 37 weeks! I have spots that I'm battling to keep covered and I need help!

I really do admire everyone who has such a posative attitude, I wish I could develop one of those...but right now, I JUST WANT MY HAIR BACK BEFORE MY WEDDING DAY PLEASE!
No, definately not, I would LOVE to have my hair back asap, but the more I read on this site about all the others and the treaments they have tried and none worked for them, I don't see any point in going through any kind of treatments , my derm prescribed an ointment for me which a couple days later I started to lose the little hair growth I had coming back and then I read on Alopecia World some comments from other women that used the same treatment and they developed sores and pimples in their heads, so I STOPPED using it right away and I will not use anything else, there are always side effects from any kind of treatment so I'm just going to let nature take it course and hope that it will come back on its own and wear a wig.I was devastated a couple times and am by no means happy that my hair is gone, but I just thank god that I don't have any kind of terminal disease, I'm a healthy person otherwise, so I am trying to accept it the best I can and get on with my life like it is.I still have my up days and down days but who doesn't, but YES, I really want my hair back , if at all possible and I always will.Just hoping and praying that it will come back and stay , so NO you are not the only one.Take Care Ben and keep in touch.
