Hi guys!

It's been a long time since I've been on here... But I've had alopecia for more than a decade!

I also quit seeing any dermatologist for many many years after years of experimenting and failures. The only thing that brought back my hair was a mega dose of prednisolone but obviously came with horrible side effects and not a viable longer term solution.

So I was wondering if those living in the UK have managed to get a prescription for Tofacitinib Citrate through a dermatologist? I'm based in London. Are there any dermatologists that you recommend?

Have a good day everyone :)

So yet again I have to answer my own questions.

For anyone that's interested, the general consensus is no dermatologist in the UK will talk or prescribe you xeljanz as it is not approved here. But this does not stop people self medicating...

In other news, CTP-543 is more promising and targeted for alopecia and appears to be blitzing through trials and may be on the market in years (that's good)

That's all :)

Don't give up on the dermatologist, when the USA passed Baricitinib as an alopecia treatment, our dermatologist in Dublin percribed Baricitinib. I knew it's not the same country but it's coming.

Are you still low on tablets?
