So, obviously I suffer with hair loss. My question is: has anyone here tried micro scalp pigmentation for women. I have watched video after video on men, with one or two with women, but I want to hear from someone who has experienced it.

I plan to shave my head first - because I feel like that looks more natural. But I don't know.

Never heard of it.

I think you're referring to scalp micropigmentation, not micro scalp pigmentation.

I am a woman and have AU, when I first heard from my dermatologist that my hair was unlikely to ever grow back, I went for a consultation for micropigmentation.

On a positive side, micropigmentation can do wonders for filling in patches that have been lost, or recreate a hairline. This is because it can be blended more easily and naturally with the existing hair and follicles.

Unfortunately, many micropigmentation artists won't do an entire scalp if the person is completely bald. It ends up looking much like a helmet, and can be more challenging to make it look natural.

Also, with this type of ink, it isn't something that lasts forever. It does need to be redone every couple years, as it fades over time. This can become quite costly if an entire scalp needs to be done.

So I guess the results you expect should depend on the amount of pigmentation you'd be needing done.

Hope that helps! Never hurts to go in for a consult!

Thank you for the correct and the information! Greatly appreciated.

I post my pictures whit it some weeks ago, i'm really happy whit it, totally undetectable. i had au and the man made me in all head ...i must refresh every 3-5 years and the cost for refresh is approx 300 doll, to make i spent 2000 dol...
